A little bit about me …

My name is Cassie and I’m a freelance journalist and editor based in Newcastle, Australia. I’ve always had a passion for words, and love the idea of being able to help others find their voice and develop their own beautifully crafted story.

For more than 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a field that I am truly passionate about—publishing. I’ve previously worked as the deputy editor of two independent publications: pregnancy and parenting magazine, My Child, and wedding and relationship magazine, White. I’m now grateful to be able to lend the skills I’ve garnered in these roles to an amazing mix of clients as a freelance journalist and editor. Click below for my current client list.
