Hi! My name is Cassie, and I’m a freelance book editor and copywriter based in Newcastle, NSW.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with words. As a child, this looked like reading countless fairytale books and the complete children’s works of Roald Dahl; as a teenager, fashion magazines and yes, the Twilight series, and now as an adult, really anything I can get my hands on, from lifestyle titles and biographies through to fantasy novels.
I’m so delighted to be able to put this obsession to productive use, freelance editing for some of Australia’s leading publishers, such as Penguin Random House, Hardie Grant, Allen and Unwin, Pan Macmillan, and Acorn Press.
